Fantasy-Sim for WarEra players

If you play WarEra, you will recognise the spirit of Fantasy-Sim: a free browser game where the players are the countries, working, trading, voting and going to war together. Fantasy-Sim takes that spirit somewhere else, into a fantasy world where a character's life has a beginning and an end.

What will feel familiar

Market stalls with sacks, jars and folded cloth under an arcade above the sea
  • Free, with nothing to buy. Fantasy-Sim has no shop and no premium currency.
  • A player economy. Companies turn what the ground gives into food, weapons, stone and paper, sold on markets in each country's own money.
  • Elected government. Citizens elect a council, and laws decide taxes, war and peace.
  • War over regions. Players fight on fronts, and ground changes hands.

What is different

A domed cathedral on a cliff above the sea, with waterfalls running from its walls
  • A fantasy world. Five kingdoms of five peoples on one drawn map, with seven climates, turning seasons, storms, floods and droughts.
  • Dynasties. Characters age and die. You marry, raise children, name an heir and build a manor, and your house goes on after you.
  • Kingdoms. Each country has a crown chosen by its dukes, and titles that pass at death or are taken by claim.
  • Faith. Three faiths, with preaching, holy orders, a conclave and relics found on expeditions.
  • Monsters and plague. Monsters settle in the counties and are hunted for their hoards; epidemics travel from region to region.
  • A day is an hour. The world turns once an hour, and your daily actions come back with it.
